OTHER STRONG POINTS OF THE TOUR
The cave of Anjohibe :
Almost virgin spectacular underground immensity : large and high galleries
and halls strewn with stalactite and stalagmite columns . Ground sometimes
constitued with screes of blocks , sometimes with brown clayey and
calcareous earth .
THE
RESERVE OF AMPIJOROA
Largely occupied by the original forest.
The flora : deciduous dense forest . Representative families of the
leguminosae, myrtaceae and several species adapted to arid seasonal
conditions.
The fauna : several species of reptiles such as counted specimens
only seen in this reserve as the chameleon Angéli.
An impressive variety of birds especially the Vangas specific to the
region or other rare species. Mammals : several species of lemurs
such as propithecus of verreauxi , the lemur mangoz….
Rodents and tenrecs.
