1.DAY
EUROPE -ANTANANARIVO - ANTSIRABE
Arrival to Ivato, welcome to the airport and assistance to formalities
of entry.
Transfer to the hotel in Antananarivo for a DAY - USE and Lunch.
After
the lunch, drive to ANTSIRABE.
Typical landscape of the high lands.Through the terraced rice plantations
and quiet campaigns. Agricultural area producing fruits, citrus fruits,
food crops and vast fields of corn. On the road, visits of aluminium
smelting works , traditional workshop in the manufacture of kitchen
utensils. Opportunity to see how from a very rudimentary equipment
and a special mud constituting the mould the craftsmen realize in
a day about opots.
In
Antsirabe, visit the city and its surroundings. Visit of a semi-precious
stone gem cutting. Free visit by the rickshaw.

2.DAY
ANTSIRABE - AMBOSITRA
After the breakfast, departure to lake TRITRIVA. From there starts
our excursion towards the volcanic area of Tritriva through the ricefields
plantations, the charming villages. And typical tombs of the high
land particularly animated during the season of deaths returning .
Lunch on the heights of the mysterious Tritriva lake with thousand
legends.
After
a walk until the bottom of the crater, continuation by car towards
Ambositra, through the terraced ricefields plantations , typical betsileo
hamlets and eucalyptus forests .
Dinner and night to the hotel.
3.
DAY AMBOSITRA - ANTOETRA -SAKAIVO
Drive
until Antoetra. We climb the tropical forest, the chain of IVOHIBE
and steep paths that constitute the attraction of the trip. Lunch
on the way.
Installation
of tents at Sakaivo not far of the Zafimaniry village .
Dinner and night at the camp.
4.
DAY SAKAIVO - FALIARIVO
We continue our walk through the landscape of great uneven spaces
. Faliarivo is one of the high places of the Zafimaniry sculpture.
One finds there chairs, chests and statuettes.
Lunch pic nic.
After
the lunch while our team installs the tents, visit of the charming
village of Vohitrandriana.
Dinner and night at the camp.
5.
DAY FALIARIVO - AMBOHIMANARIVO
Still a few hours of walk. Climbing on 500 m of altitude. This last
tour closes the loop ZAFIMANIRY to arrive at the starting point. Pic
nic lunch on the way. Dinner and night at the camp.
6.
DAY AMBOHIMANARIVO - ANTOETRA - AMBOSITRA
Return to the starting point. The car waits at ANTOETRA. Pic nic lunch
Embarkation in the car for Ambositra.
Dinner and night at the hotel.
7.DAY AMBOSITRA - RANOMAFANA
Continuation by car to the south to visit the wonderful park of Ranomafana.
It is at the same time a dense forest of low altitude and a mountain
forest containing a reputed fauna and endemic flora . The park is
located within an area made up of steep slopes hills presenting sometimes
cliffs . . Lunch at the restaurant.
Dinner and night at the hotel.
8. DAY RANOMAFANA - RANOHIRA
In Ambalavao, visits factory of Antaimoro paper and vineyards of the
region. It is here that begins the real south with its vast arid steppe
extents and great herds of zebus.
Lunch at the restaurant.
Arrival
at the end of afternoon at Ranohira. Installation at the hotel.
Dinner and night in the hotel.
9.
DAY RANOHIRA
Visit ISALO park. The park is constituted bY continental sandstone
dating the jurassique. Lunar landscape. Visit the CANYON OF the MAKIS.
Pic nic lunch . Climbing to the NATURAL SWIMMING POOL. Imposing and
surprising site inviting to rest and to bathing .
Return
at the end of the afternoon to the hotel after admiring a superb sunset
at the WINDOW Of ISALO . Installation at the hotel.
Dinner and night at the hotel.
10.
DAY RANOHIRA-TULEAR
Continuation to the southwest coast. Crossing typical Antandroy tombs
and the thorny bush, characteristic of the south of the island. Lunch.
Installation at the hotel.
Dinner and night at the hotel.
11.
DAY TULEAR
Dinner and night at the hotel until Day 12 (2 NIGHTS). It is possible
to walk and for fanatics of the mountain to the vezo fishermen village
of ANKILIBE which is 4 km far behind the hotel.
13. DAY TULEAR-ANTANANARIVO and continuation
Transfer to the airport of Tuléar. Arrival to Antananarivo,
assistance at the departure formalities for the interior or external
flight.
